Terrific Tuesday

Let's start out with the fact that today's date is 1/11/11.  That is just very cool and outside of ten days ago when it was 1/1/11 I am thrilled to have been alive during such a cool date.  In 11 years I will be able to say I saw 2/2/22 and 2/22/22.  In 1 year I will celebrate my birthday on 12/12/12 but seriously this is a cool date.

So why is today such a terrific Tuesday?  Well, as is normal I am thrilled to be alive today.  And I don't say that in way that implies anything other than the fact that I love to live.  Each day is a present to me and I get to enjoy all the ups and down of it.

In other terms today is terrific Tuesday because last night I got word that another company is going to sponsor the Marathon Makeover North Dallas team and I cannot wait to post the sponsor and put up the logo and link on our MMND page.  It is exciting to share a vision with a company that they are willing to put their name on your product.

Another sponsor is coming on board today as well and I am at their location to get contracts signed.  When our meeting kicks-off the season on Saturday it is going to be super exciting to present to our participants the sponsors and what they are bringing to the table and how It's So Much More Than a Marathon!

Another reason why this is terrific Tuesday?  I had a great meeting with a company yesterday afternoon and I believe there is a lot of good that is going to come out of that meeting and so I will bite my tongue until I get the word that it truly was a great meeting.

Next up --- today I decided to go with a few new items for an outfit.  I received my T-Shirt from Stefano over at the Run With the Black Knight and have been horrible at posting it but made the decision today to post it.'St  Here it is on me and the words mean 'Strong and Fast'

Over top of that I went with a sweater that was sent to me as part of my Secret Bloggie-Santa exchange.  I got this gift a week ago and had a tough time in keeping it.  It was above and beyond and truly humbled me when I got the package.  It was a great gift and I am thrilled to have received it and I want to thank Karen over at Glass Slippers.  This was such a thoughtful gift because she remembered my post So I Was (Borrowed Idea) where I wrote the following:

In awe of the sweater that Michael Vick wore at the press conference at the end of the Eagles-Giants game. It was a black/white/grey plaid pullover sweater that just looked good and something I might have to find online and stare at.

So over the top went the gift and here is how it looks on me:

A sweater in Dallas you are wondering.  Well let's just say that is is Twenty-Two Tuesday here in Dallas and this sweater could not have come at a better time.  Thank You Karen.  What a truly thoughtful and great gift.

And to end the day I am going to Hood to Coast on some free passes that I won.  Now that is terrific.
